I’m determined to build a consistent wellness practice. What seems to work for me is to set my intent in the beginning of the week, and then track how I did.
To be honest, this past year has been brutal. I know others have suffered greater loss and my heart aches for everyone. Before the pandemic, I had found a routine and community and was focused on my health. I was determined to not let all my hard work go when they closed the fitness studio I attended. I did the Zoom classes they offered, but after being on Zoom all day for work… I found myself not wanting to be online during my free time. I turned my attention to my garden and that kept me strong, until the winter hit. I stopped moving as much and let my diet go downhill. I’m paying for that now but I am determined to make my way back.
I created this tracker and thought I’d share. In the beginning of the week I write out my plan, set my intentions. At the end of every day, check off what I did and make a note of any self care and take a moment for gratitude. Sometimes the week gets out of control, this keeps me on track. I can move things around if needed. If the day gets really crazy, then I let it go and try a little harder the next day. It’s okay to be flexible with yourself. Download the wellness intent pdf here.
If you’d like to share how you did and hold yourself even more accountable, download the “on track” graphic to post in your Instagram story here. Use hashtag #graysfulwellness so I’ll see your post and can cheer you along!
